Accommodation 
Plantation Lodge is situated about 30 kms from the Ngorongoro Crater. The place is very neatly tucked away on a coffee farm in the hills near to the town of Karatu.
NUMBER OF ROOMS & DESCRIPTION:
There are a total of 14 double rooms of which 6 can be converted into triples. All the rooms are individually furnished in varying themes. The most interesting is room 5, the honeymoon suite. This room has a special shower/ jacuzzi bath which has millions of buttons for the various settings. It is highly recommended for a romantic night. Further down the garden is the group house. If a group or family is traveling through Tanzania, then this is really recommended. There are 4 double suites, all en suite and a large dining room where the guests can have their meals. There are also facilities available for younger children. The decor is a European African theme and all rooms are decorated individually.
OTHER FACILITIES & SERVICES:
As this is a private home type lodge there is not much in terms of facilities offered. They do have a fantastic pool area.
