AISHI MACHAME
Marangu Hotel is a country hotel 6 kms from the Kilimanjaro National Park gate at Marangu. It has been outfitting climbers on Kilimanjaro for over 60 years. All trekking routes are arranged. Situated on the outskirts of Marangu village, this well established hotel is a cut above the rest in terms of comfort but has the appearance of somewhere that was busy once but now needs a bit of a dust. The general ambience is not helped by a rather surly receptionist.A bar and restaurant serving both local and international cuisine.
Public areas are not particularly inviting but the grounds are pretty and well tended. As a place to spend the night either side of a Kilimanjaro climb it is fine.
