Location: Situated in the central Serengeti prime game viewing area, 29 kilometres southwest of Seronera airstrip, Kuhama offers an ideal base from where guests can explore many parts of the Serengeti – to the north, west, east, and the Moru kopjes. The camp is open throughout the year.

Accommodation: Serengeti Kuhama is an intimate camp with only 10 guest tents, spread out on the lower slopes of Makoma Hill with views of the Serengeti savannah. Accommodation is provided in spacious walk-in tents which can accommodate up to three beds (triple). The tents feature a wood floor and are furnished with beds made of fine tropical wood, bedside tables, mattresses, pillows, blankets and bed sheets. The en-suite wash room facilities are set on the far end of the guest tent, offering a hand washbasin, a safari bucket shower and flush toilet.

Each guest tent has a verandah with two safari chairs and table, allowing you to relax with a book, or just enjoy the different scents, sights and sounds around you. This is an eco-friendly camp fully powered by solar energy.

Facilities & Services: The mess tent is spacious and well ventilated, with dining tables and chairs, cutlery, crockery, table cloth and other facilities offered in a standard restaurant. The camp serves three freshly cooked meals a day – breakfast, lunch and dinner; with 3-course meals for lunch and dinner.

On one side of the mess tent there is a small cozy lounge where guests can charge their mobile phones, camera batteries and lap tops. Wi-Fi is available in the mess / lounge area free of charge. Evenings are invariably social gatherings around a crackling campfire in a serene and quiet surrounding interrupted by occasional distant calls of wildlife.
